RECEIVING WAYBILLS AND ACKNOWLEDGING ON THE APP

Parcels to be acknowledged: Also referred to as ”Inbound” is used to describe when Parcels from CPS and other stations are received and processed to be available for Pick up at Station (PAS) or Door Step Delivery(DSD).

Station Supervisor/ Operation Staff on duty ;

• Receives manifest from driver.
• Inspects shipment condition inside the vehicle to ensure no discrepancy
• Escalates damage(s) or spillage in transit if any by taking pictures & sending mail to Resolution team (resolution@guologistics.ng)
• Unload, inspect, confirm and acknowledge non-GMB shipment with the scanner( have your eyes on the laptop screen to ensure no error message, escalate any error if noticed)
• Sort shipment per location and store in designated shelfs or trolleys.
• Unload GMBs and confirm with the scanner
• Inspect content, escalate exceptions if any
• All VICs (Very Important Cargos) like Phones, laptops, important documents/Intl. passports, mails and parcels to be kept properly by Station Manager/ Supervisor and warehouse haulage items(call receivers of bulky items for immediate pickup).
• Officially report/escalation of all exceptions

Note: A barcode scanner MUST be used when acknowledging parcels. If there are any exceptions during scanning, they must be escalated via mail.
