Mandatory Selection of Clear Tape in Parcel Registration for Big & Bulky and Multiple Items

Dear Team,

Please be informed that Clear Tape has now been added to the list of packaging materials that must be selected when registering big & bulky or multiple items. This applies to items such as:

  • Mattresses
  • Bulky household items
  • Multiple bags/GMGs
  • Charters
  • Shipments requiring the use of multiple flat cartons
  • Any item that will require the use of half a Piece of clear tape or more

Please note:

  • If Clear Tape is not selected during registration and it is later found that the PID required significant use of tape, the CSR who handled the registration will be surcharged.

I encourage you to work closely with your loaders to fully understand the packaging needs of each item at the point of registration. This will ensure accurate selection of packaging materials in the system and prevent future disputes or penalties.

  • Please let us avoid using our clear tape like ropes, watch what your loaders are doing with the clear tapes when its brought out for work.
