PACKAGING WAYBILL ITEMS
- Staff inspects the size of waybill and determines the packaging method to be used for waybill.
- Neatly package the items with the required materials.
- Use GMB for Small parcel
- Use the branded tape and clear pouch with a parcel description for bulky items.
- Use fragile tape on fragile items.
- Insert the barcode receipt in the pouch (All Parcels must move out with a barcode receipt for easy scanning, if otherwise there will be penalties)
- Attach the pouch to the bulky parcels
- When describing parcel packaged with GMB, Indicate in the description "CLOTHES IN A GMB". If there are multiple items in the sender's package Ensure all countable items are recorded in the description before adding. If there are 3 pieces of shirt kindly indicate as "SHIRTS (3) IN A GMB". If there are more than 20 items to be inserted in the GMB, indicate in the description "XXXX( NOT COUNTED) IN A GMB". Kindly apply discretion here and seek advise from your supervisor on what to do.
SORTING AND ARRANGING WAYBILL
- Sort waybills of the same destination
- Sort each destination by their sizes
- Put light items to the same destination in a MSB/Carrier Bag and label as Destination Open (e.g. Onitsha Open).
